Curt and I are extremely excited to start this new adventure in our lives. We feel so fortunate to have been given this opportunity to be a part of an organization devoted to promoting peace and fostering healthy global relationships. While the year and a half process (from application to departure) has been long and dragging at times, it has given us ample time to prepare mentally, physically, and emotionally for this 27 month commitment. We will miss our friends and family immensely and hope this blog can help keep us all connected.

Disclaimer: We are not blog people. I admire people who write well, and I admire people who can keep up with a blog. I will try to be the first, and please wish me luck on the second.
